March 1998 to April 23, 2006.   Smokey went to the rainbow bridge to be with Mama Jasmine after complications from bloat surgery. 

Franklin is deaf but definitely knows his hand signals.

Franklin went to the rainbow bridge to be with the others August 22, 2006.  But on the good side he had seven years longer than he was supposed to have and he was definitely an experience.  We will miss him.
